The MIT Entrepreneurship Lab is a course taught by Alan MacCormack, Ken Morse, and John Preston through which teams of graduate management, engineering and science students work for one semester on a problem critical to the success of a new technology venture.

We typically work with technology-intensive, intellectual property-based companies, including (but not limited to) biotech, cleantech, wireless, software and hardware manufacturers. The firms generally have 40 or fewer employees and at least one round of significant VC or angel funding.

Important dates:
  • September 4 (Friday): Student/project registrations due
  • September 9 (Wednesday): First class; projects/teams picked
  • October 29 (Thursday): E-Lab CEO Reception
