Entrepreneur Miles Barr Wins Lemelson-MIT Student Prize

Recent MIT graduate Miles Barr received the $30,000 Lemelson-MIT Student Prize yesterday for an approach that would allow paper and textiles to be turned into solar panels.
Barr received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering earlier this year from MIT, and also holds an SM from MIT.
Barr is working to commercialize the technology. He co-founded Ubiquitous Energy, which participated as a student team in the Martin Trust Center's Summer Startup Central program last year.
