Courses and Requirements
Undergraduate and graduate students may take advantage of the MIT policy allowing anyone to take any subject, regardless of major, assuming appropriate prerequisites, instructor permission, and space availability. Thus, Engineering and Science students may take targeted business subjects, and MIT Sloan students may take certain Engineering or Media Lab subjects.

Thesis: Many students use the thesis opportunity to study and plan an entrepreneurial firm or topic. Business plans have been accepted as theses.
