The MIT Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) is an intensive, one-week program teaching participants from around the world how to identify and evaluate opportunities for new technology ventures.

The upcoming EDP will be held 24 January - 29 January 2010. Participants must apply online for admittance into the program. Early application is highly recommended.

The EDP 2010 course description and schedule is downloadable at this link: 2010 Course Description and Schedule.

SUCCESS STORY

Tobin McGregor
President & CEO, Avant Garde Corporation
"I attended the January 2000 Entrepreneurship Development program. I was sponsored by my employer at the time who was interested in developing a technology transfer and commercialization program. I was extremely enlightened by the MIT program and ended up enjoying much success afterwards in developing the technology commercialization service program for my employer. Two start-ups and an exciting product development initiative with a company that was later featured (story) in the January 2002 Inc. Magazine (http://www.inc.com). 20 months ago I decided to take the leap and founded my company Avant Garde Technology Management. I am happy to report that during the past 18 months we have started six new companies."

Mr. McGregor joined Strategic Marketing Innovations (SMI) in 2004 and presently serves as Vice President.
