Established by recent graduates in 1997, the mission of the MIT Entrepreneurship Society (E-Society) is to establish
an entrepreneurial support network among our entrepreneurial-minded alumni. The MIT E-Society promotes collaboration
among MIT faculty, staff, students, alums, and enthusiastic participants in MIT-related ventures. Members based in
Boston, New York, and Silicon Valley meet and network regularly to advise and support each others' careers and ventures.
All members pledge to donate between 3% and 25% of the shares of their new ventures to MIT, providing a stream of funds
to support intellectual and material contributions that ensure MIT's continued excellence in entrepreneurship education
and research. E-Society members are always invited to networking events and activities as VIPs.
