Toronto High Tech Networking Event
The MIT Entrepreneurship Center held its first high tech event in Canada. Working closely with Michael M. Koerner, President of Canada Overseas Investments and a member of the MIT Corporation, we selected Toronto as the best high tech “hot spot” for our cocktail networking reception.

As part of the program, eight new high tech Canadian start-ups delivered their 55-second elevator pitches to all the tech-savvy VCs, high-tech CEOs, and university leaders in attendance. The rest of the evening was spent in intense, serious networking, MIT style. Held at the Sutton Place Hotel, with full view of the city, our event was co-hosted with the MIT Enterprise Forum of Toronto, the MIT Club of Toronto, and the MIT Entrepreneurship Society.
