Morning Academic Program:
9:00. Presentation by Ken Morse, similar to the one given in Cairo, to a student audience at the American University of Beirut.

11:30. Tour of Central District of Beirut organized by Solidere, the company responsible for the reconstruction of the Beruit Central District.

14:00. Lunch in Byblos with a panel of high-tech entrepreneurs.

Afternoon Academic & Cultural Program:
We will visit the Archaeological Museum of Beirut, and the Port of Byblos, the oldest harbor in the world, from where St. Paul embarked to Greece. Other attractions include the archaeological site around Acropolis, where traces all periods of man since the Neolithic are found. Byblos is full of history; the Crusaders left behind such vestiges as a Cathedral built in the 7th century. We return to Beirut at the end of the day.

Day Four. Saturday, 18 March

Lunch & Afternoon Academic Program:
12:30. Visit Dalia, an agro-food plant in the Bekaa Valley. Lunch will be hosted and sponsored by Dalia. 

Afternoon Cultural Program:
Travel to Baalbeck, located in the heart of the Bekaa Valley. The Phoenicians built Baal's temple there, to glorify the God of the Sun. The temple was under construction for three hundred years, but was never completed.

Day Five. Sunday, 19 March

Travel from Beirut, Lebanon to Amman, Jordan.
