Catharina Lavers Mallet

Catharina has built her career on leading creative cross-functional teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments, helping product-led, data-driven, innovative companies get where they want to go. She is a General Manager at King Digital (developer of Candy Crush, and now part of Activision Blizzard), where she was directly responsible for building two game studios in London and oversaw the development of Farm Heroes Saga, a top-10 grossing casual mobile social game. During her time at King, the company grew from 175 employees to well over 2,000, IPO’d and was acquired. Before joining King, she was a Product Manager and Executive Producer at Playfish (acquired by Electronic Arts), where she oversaw development of Facebook game The Sims Social, part of the beloved The Sims franchise, and was product manager for Pet Society, one of the first successful games on Facebook. Catharina has also worked as a Vice President and designer of risk management solutions for financial institutions at Algorithmics (acquired by Fitch Ratings), and as a summer consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants. She has an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BA cum laude from Harvard.
