In 1990, with co-sponsorship by MIT Sloan faculty across multiple disciplines, the MIT Entrepreneurship Center was launched with an initial Advisory Board consisting of prominent MIT entrepreneurial alumni. Housed in the MIT
Sloan School of Management and chartered with serving the entire MIT community, the MIT
Entrepreneurship Center receives funding from MIT Sloan as well as corporate and
individual supporters.
Each of the supporters of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center helps to establish a
stream of funds and other intellectual and material contributions to ensure MIT's
continued excellence in entrepreneurship education and research. We encourage our
supporters to sustain, develop, and contribute in any way they can to the
infrastructure and intellectual life of the Institute.
