"The Richard J. Testa conference room is a new, open, fresh engaging space where, for at least the next 5 - 7 years or more we will do our best to carry out our mission: To train the men and women who will make high tech start up companies successful."
- Ken Morse
Managing Director
MIT Entrepreneurship Center

Janet Testa at the conference
room dedication.
This conference room will ensure not only that the philosophies and track records of a hero of the venture capital industry are well recognized, but also to invest in the success of future generations of entrepreneurs. This room will provide a space where entrepreneurs, be they alumni, students, staff or guests, may meet and discuss programs and intellectual pursuits of the MIT community. It will serve both as a quiet place to read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the lessons of the past and also as a magnet for interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and managers to devise bold plans so that the advanced technologies developed in our powerful laboratories will make a brilliant transition to the real world, succeed in the cruel crucible of the marketplace, and achieve global acceptance and dominance. The MIT Entrepreneurship Center is honored to have a conference room dedicated to a man who was committed thoroughly to the spirit of entrepreneurship, and that we may encourage others to follow in Richard J. Testa's footsteps.

On Thursday, 10 April 2003, the great and good came to honor Dick and help us dedicate the Richard J. Testa Memorial Conference room.
