Listen to the stories of EdTech entrepreneurs as they narrate their journey through the EdTech space and take this opportunity to meet other likeminded entrepreneurs who want to succeed in EdTech. Panelists include:

Kin Lo is the Chief Executive Officer of Kaymbu and manages high-level product direction, business development, and strategy for the company. Kin has held senior roles in operations and strategic planning in the digital media industry over the last 15 years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University with a degree in Political Economy, completed his MBA at the Sloan School of Management at MIT, and served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Kin’s daughter turns seven this year and was the inspiration for harnessing technology to keep parents and teachers better connected with their young children during these precious years of early development.  Profile:

Asad Butt is a partner with LearnLaunch Accelerator, an EdTech focused startup program. At LearnLaunch Accelerator, he oversees day-to-day activities, program creation and implementation, and sourcing of the EdTech startups. Asad is a media and tech professional with over 12 years of experience working in both the creative and business sides of startups, media production companies, non-profit organizations, and broadcast news outlets. His first foray into EdTech was in 2005 when he worked for Empower Peace, a non-profit that implemented cutting-edge digital technology to connect high school students in the Middle East to their peers in the U.S. Asad earned an M.B.A., M.S. in Media Ventures, and an M.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University, and holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Bates Colleges. Jackson Boyar is the CEO and Co-founder of Shearwater, a local startup that partners with 50+ high schools and universities to run online mentorship programs. Prior to founding Shearwater, Jackson worked at L.E.K. Consulting, helping businesses address their most pressing strategic challenges.
