Pete Wurman ’87 has an SB in mechanical engineering from MIT and a PhD in computer science from the University of Michigan. After graduating from Michigan, Pete joined the CS faculty at North Carolina State, where he earned tenure in 2006. Around the same time, Pete helped found Kiva Systems, the maker of  warehouse robotic solutions that was purchased by Amazon for $775m. Pete is currently the VP of Engineering at Cogitai.
