Josue Lopez

Josué is a 6th year PhD student in MIT EECS and has developed next-generation imaging and sensing technologies. He is currently co-founder of a startup building sensors that will enable autonomous machines and vehicles to see and navigate the world. Over the past 10+ years, he has conducted research as part of world-class teams at MIT, Caltech, Northwestern, and Rice University and has completed projects related to photonics and nanomaterials. For his technical accomplishments and passion for mentoring and outreach he has been recognized as a MIT Presidential, National Science Foundation, and 2019 Facebook Fellow.
