Neil Webber

Neil Webber has a Bachelor’s degree (1983) in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT. His career focused on system software and mission-critical applications, primarily at startup and early-stage companies. Neil was co-founder, Vice President of Engineering, and Chief Technology Officer at Vignette Corporation, which went public in 1999. After Vignette, Neil formed the Webber Family Foundation to target the educational needs of lower-income youth. In addition to chairing the Webber Family Foundation, Neil serves as Chair-Elect of the national Breakthrough Collaborative Board of Trustees, and as immediate past Chair of Breakthrough Central Texas, both focused on increasing college access and completion for underrepresented students. Neil also works with selected seed-stage companies as an advisor. Neil resides in Austin, TX.
