MIT delta v
MIT delta v is MIT’s student venture accelerator, providing a capstone educational opportunity for MIT student entrepreneurs that prepares them to hit escape velocity and launch into the real world. Teams receive dedicated space in the co-working environment of the Martin Trust Center from June to early September where they will work on their ventures full-time for the whole summer. Learn more about our accelerator and its alumni teams.
MIT NYC Summer Startup Studio
Our NYC-based accelerator will be in its second year in 2018. Focused on teams who will benefit from being exposed to the New York startup ecosystem and access to specific vertical industries, the NYC Summer Startup Studio is a full-time commitment for startup ventures who will spend the summer working full-time in Manhattan. The program will run from June to the end of August with a Demo Day in mid-September.
The Entrepreneurship Internship is a paid summer internship program open to ALL undergraduates at MIT* and provides an immersive work experience at a startup founded by MIT delta v alumni. Students work side-by-side with the startup’s founding team and have an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, receive one-on-one mentoring, and determine if startup life is right for them. The internship will run for 8 to 10 weeks; most positions will begin in early June.
(* rising freshmen, sophomores, and juniors only; seniors graduating in June 2018 are not eligible)
MEMSI (MIT Entrepreneurship and Maker Skills Integrator) is a two-week long, fully immersive mini-accelerator for aspiring hardware system innovators from universities in Hong Kong and MIT that takes place twice annually in January and June. This program is designed for all students from freshman onward who want to build up their skills in entrepreneurship, hardware making, and product development for connected devices with an Internet of Things (IoT) flavor.
MEFTI (MIT Entrepreneurship and FinTech Integrator) is a one-week-long immersive FinTech startup bootcamp for students from MIT and from Hong Kong. Students will learn about the vibrant FinTech ecosystem in the Asia Pacific region and find out what it takes to build a FinTech venture in an emerging market. MEFTI will run August 25 – September 1, 2018.
